Intrapartum Audit welcome the opportunity to work with hospitals in system trials.
Objectives of the trials:
- Testing the practicalities of IASP in different settings
- Improving IASP to meet the needs of hospitals across the world
- Proving IASP is working correctly
Benefits of the trials:
- Testing the benefits of collecting and reporting on Robson group numbers
- Seeing if the system can contribute to maintaining and improving local standards of care of mothers
- Trialists can request a local language version
- Trialists will get support from Michael Robson before and after the trial - help in the practicalities of collecting data and using the system and understanding the results
Trials status 17/02/2023
A number of hospitals in several countries have applied for local approvals to run a trial. Trials are at an advanced stage in hospitals in Brazil and Pakistan and we expect others will commence in the coming weeks.
